Welcome to PACEBALL, the new exciting, fast paced game for boys and girls of all abilities.

PACEBALL was created by myself and the idea for this was a result of spending over 25 years coaching sports in schools, especially primary. I have found that the majority of the sports we coach are dominated by either boys or those pupils who are talented and sports minded.

We have tried lots of different approaches to find ways to get girls and less able pupils involved, but still we find the games can be dominated and some pupils seem to be reluctant to get involved. So, the challenge was to find a game that boys and girls could play that would also encourage the less able pupils to be involved and have a role to play....and PACEBALL was born!!

PACEBALL is fully trademarked (Trademark number. PACEBALL UK00003045862) and protected and is a fast paced game based on several skills - running with the ball, tagging an opponent, passing the ball, catching the ball, throwing the ball, shooting at a target, intercepting a ball, blocking a ball, movement, spatial awareness, communication and tactical play.

The game is unique in that you play around all sides of the target, so a point can be scored front, back or either side. The ball can be thrown into the target or dropped into the target and there are hardly any stoppages in play as there are in Football, Hockey, Basketball, etc,... So, the play is almost non stop.

You need lots of energy to play and it definitely keeps you fit. The game is playable indoor or outdoor and is flexible in its format.

We have trialled PACEBALL at 30+ schools and the feedback has been amazing, with 100% of teachers and assistants positive and 94% of pupils positive, which has exceeded even our own expectations. The teachers have said that it's great to see everyone involved and that pupils who they struggle to motivate in P.E. seem to be happily involved in what we are doing with PACEBALL.

The game has a strong code of discipline and there is absolutely no arguing with the referee. This has worked as a positive in schools.
