Ashby United CFC was formed in 2020 and is community run. This means that the club is member owned and relies on the local community for funding. Ashby United CFC use Hood Park Leisure Centre’s public football pitch alongside other local pitches in Ashby and the surrounding areas to facilitate both Junior and Senior football. 

Ashby United CFC offers an inclusive approach to maximise engagement and participation across the whole town and surrounding area. We are a bronze accredited member of the north west Leicestershire inclusive club scheme. 

With the help of the local town and parish councils, Ashby United CFC have local training and playing facilities supported by a large group of qualified coaches and officials to ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with the governing bodies of the Football Association and County Football Association. 

With a range of junior teams and senior teams it is our intention to expand to meet the growing needs of the community. Whilst the new club has a dedicated group of volunteers, we are mindful that the town is full of talented people who could provide significant additional value. We are very lucky to have a 10 person committee made up of many talented individuals across the club. All key decisions are taken by a majority vote at the monthly meetings.
