Hills Combat

Hills Combat provides self-defence and karate lessons at the Packington Memorial Hall in Ashby de-la-Zouch. The club is dedicated to children aged 4-15 and is divided into two age groups.

For the younger group (ages 4-7), the sessions serve as an introduction to karate and self-defence. At Hills Combat, we harness their energy in a fun and productive way, emphasizing values like respect, discipline, and conflict resolution. The older group (ages 8-15) also enjoys lively and enjoyable classes.

We teach all students the essentials of self-defence, karate, and most importantly, how to stay safe. Our lessons also focus on conflict resolution and anti-bullying skills, crucial for this age group.

All children will learn:

  • Respect
  • Discipline
  • Conflict resolution
  • Kicking
  • Punching
  • Blocking
  • Kata
  • Sparring
  • Punch & kick bag drills

Karate offers numerous benefits for children, not only in terms of physical fitness but also for developing self-confidence, self-discipline, and focus. It's an excellent way to foster social skills and make new friends.

Everyone is welcome to join Hills Combat, and we encourage you to try a free class. The sessions are held every Thursday from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm at the Packington Memorial Hall, Ashby de-la-Zouch, LE65 1WJ.
